This workout is aimed to pack big results in little time! I call it Swingin’ in the rain because the fast pace gets me sweating big time!
- a kettlebell or dumbbell
- a jump rope
Workout pt. 1: Complete 3 rounds of exercises listed below. Round 1 is 21 reps, round 2 is 15 reps, and round 3 is 9 reps. After each round do 100 skips with your jump rope.
- Kettlebell or Dumbbell swings
- Squat Thrusters
Workout pt. 2: 6 minute core circuit. Go through the below list twice, each set is 1 minute. Switch between the paired exercises every 10 reps. Little to no rest, this is supposed to BURN!!
- Glute bridge and leg raises
- Russian twists and mountain climbers
- Downward dog toe taps* and crossbody mountain climbers (Opposite knee to opposite elbow)
*Downward dog toe taps – start in a high plank position, push your hips up and back to the sky like you would for downward dog, and tap your hand to the opposite foot. Return back to starting position and repeat with the opposite side.
